Instead of constantly reheating the ambient air, Lorings recirculate the heat, requiring less energy to reach ideal roasting temperatures. To further preserve the freshness of our coffee, we immediately package, nitrogen flush, and seal each bag after roasting. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, non-reactive, food-safe gas that's heavier than air, which forces flavor-stealing oxygen out before your bag is sealed tight.
