In 2012, founder Mike Brown created the formula and roasting process for Death Wish Coffee. He wanted a strong, bold and smooth cup, made with high-quality arabica + robusta beans that are roasted to bold, never-bitter perfection. We live to rebel against blah beans—and a boring, lackluster life.

Our coffees are free of any nut or gluten allergens and are produced in facilities that have no possibility of cross-contamination with these allergens. We typically recommend using 2.5 Tbsps. of coffee for each 6oz of water, though feel free to use your usual brew method and adjust from there. For a full pot, we suggest a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio.

Our ground coffee offerings include a variety of roast profiles:

CORE ROAST: Subtle undertones of dark chocolate and black cherry. DARK ROAST: Subtle undertones of stone fruit and caramel. ESPRESSO ROAST: Subtle undertones of caramelized sugar.

NATURALLY FLAVORED: • Vanilla: Warm, rich vanilla rounded out by notes of smooth, yet bold coffee. • Chocolate Hazelnut: Toasted hazelnut and rich fudge blend with a smooth coffee profile. • Blue and Buried: Homemade blueberry jam, luscious vanilla and sweet Vietnamese cinnamon.

All our naturally flavored coffees use Fair Trade arabica and robusta beans, roasted to a medium shade. The aromas and aftertastes complement the medium roast profiles beautifully.
