Loring roasters benefit from a closed-loop system, where the heat is recirculated rather than constantly reheating ambient air. This makes the process almost entirely automatic and self-regulating, requiring less energy to reach ideal roasting temperatures. The result is more fresh, flavorful coffee and less waste from over-roasting.

To further preserve the freshness of our coffee, we immediately package each bag with a nitrogen flush after roasting. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, non-reactive gas that's heavier than air, effectively pushing out flavor-stealing oxygen before the bag is sealed.
