Mocha Java is a historic blend type that has evolved over the last two centuries, inspiring numerous iterations and interpretations depending on the roaster's preferences. At Equator Coffees, we take a unique approach to our Fair Trade and organic certified version, combining a pair of floral, fruit-forward coffees from Ethiopia with a full-bodied coffee from Sumatra. Together, these coffees create a complex and smooth blend with just the right amount of fruit presence.

All of the component coffees in our Mocha Java Blend are certified organic and Fair Trade. Our take on the classic fruit-forward Mocha Java blend features a pair of 100% Arabica coffees from Ethiopia that are also certified Organic and Fair Trade.

The resulting Flavor Profile is smooth and complex, with notes of dark chocolate, almond, and a delicate touch of berry fruit. We take great care in the roasting process, cupping our coffee daily for quality control and ensuring that our coffee is always freshly roasted and shipped directly to your door, never sitting on a warehouse shelf and going stale.

Sustainable solutions are a core part of our mission at Equator Coffees. We nurture long-term relationships with growers who practice responsible land stewardship and sustainable farming. Additionally, we use plant-based packaging and energy-efficient coffee roasters to minimize our environmental impact.
